1. Use a Good Backdrop
The backdrop is the most important factor and it's really important for it to be good! Mixing two patterns can also look super good! Some of the things you can use are:
-Carpet
-Fur coat
-Blanket
-Bed sheets
-Tiles
-Some papers
-Boards
2. Have a Theme
If your flat lay looks a bit 'over the place' it's probably because you are using too much different stuff. If you want your theme to be fashion,use a bag, some shades, maybe a magazine and some beauty products because fashion and beauty, in general, goes together. But if you want a sort of a crafty look, use some notebooks, agendas, calendars, pens, stickers, washi tape and all that good stuff!
3.Color Coordinate
Don't go too crazy with the colours. You should want to stick with a certain palette.
4.Flowers are your BFF
With flowers, you can never go wrong! Even the most boring,basic flat lay can look super cute with some flowers. Just make sure they are fresh!
5. Shoot from Above
Yes, you need to raise your arms and yes I know it's almost a workout but that's the cost of a good Instagram pic.
Sometimes this even requires a chair to stand on so be prepared!
6. Natural light
Every pic needs a good light! The best light you can use is natural so make sure you are close to your window or even better get outside!
7.Inspire yourself
If you have a problem with the content just go on Pinterest or Tumblr and you'll def find some good pics to recreate! And don't forget to stay creative!
